Red Wigglers are master composters that eat up to 3 times their body weight per week and produce rich worm castings that will help your plants thrive.

How Many Worms Will I Need?

Subpod Classic

Minimum: 1lb (1000 worms)

Recommended: 2lb (2000 worms)

You need at least 1lb of worms to get started with a Subpod Classic. However we recommend starting with 2lb to build up your worm population quickly and get your system operating at full capacity sooner.

Subpod Mini

Minimum: 1/2lb (500 worms)

Recommended: 1lb (1000 worms)

You need at least 1/2lb of worms to get started with a Subpod Mini. However we recommend starting with 1lb to build up your worm population quickly and get your system operating at full capacity sooner.

Getting Worm Ready

If you are just getting started with Subpod you might not have suitable accomodation for your worms yet.

When you order a Subpod it takes 5-8 days to arrive. We want to make sure your worms have a cosy bed ready when they arrive so we will ship your worms two weeks after you order your Subpod.
